Mike Aremu

Michael Aremu started his career in music as a drummer and later learned to play the base guitar, the keyboard and then the trumpet in a small town church in the Northern part of Nigeria.  In 1993, he first started playing the alto saxophone and later picked up the soprano and tenor saxophones respectively in 1997.  It was at this time that Mike Aremu began a professional career as a saxophonist.

Recent compliments from the renowned Nigerian saxophonist (Orlando Julius) have named him the best saxophonist in the country. Mike Aremu has released two albums; ‘Dance’ and ‘No shaking’ which was released after Awesome Praise 1.

Mike Aremu continues to take the gospel through music to all nations. He loves to praise God in his own way particularly in his own mother tongue. You can expect a moving experience when you sit through the ministry of Mike Aremu. He has visited the UK on numerous occasions since his maiden appearance in September 2002 at the request of many churches. Mike Aremu is on his first visit to the US continuing in his many first with Awesome Praise. Like Olufunmi, he has participated in all Awesome Praise concerts in the UK and USA.
